The current DirecTV remote experience certainly leaves room for improvement, pray this might be it

DirecTV's app is missing the only feature that would make it worth having - live streaming. As a DISH Network customer/employee I can tell you that having the ability to stream your live TV and DVR recordings is amazing. I do it everyday on my iPad (my bus rides go by so quick). And that's why I love being with DISH - they're always innovating and the prices can't be beat. I highly suggest checking DISH out if you want to watch your TV on the go.
